A Message From CEO Lloyd Lewis

Thanks for visiting us on the Arc Thrift Store website! I and all of our 650 employees are intensely proud of our company and very important mission we serve. When you shop our stores, or make a donation to our company, you are supporting advocacy and services for persons with developmental disabilities, including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and all persons with developmental disabilities across our state. This is a very personal mission to me and to our employees, and one which I feel very intensely as the extremely proud father of a beautiful little boy with Down syndrome.

Our stores are created to be pleasant, attractive, and personal shopping experiences. Our stores feature a wide selection of nearly new and in some cases new clothing, knick knacks, accessories, domestic items, appliances, furniture, etc. All items are quality selections, meticulously chosen, and priced at the best value, with exciting sales each and every month! We take great pride in our stores, our customers, and each of our store employees!

You will also find it extremely easy to donate unneeded items to Arc, with convenient pick-up and easy to use donation call lines to arrange your pickup. Each of your donations is carefully transported to our stores and warehouse, and all profits from your donations (and store purchases) go to support and advocacy of persons with developmental disabilities. Our company is a 501(c)(3) organization, and we take great pride in our mission and utilization of donations to create value in our community for persons with developmental disabilities.
